Payment Methods
The payment methods available for an order are displayed securely in Shopify Checkout.
Cards and Digital Payments
Availability depends on the destination, currency, store configuration, and payment provider. Only methods displayed at checkout can be selected.
Currency
Storefront pricing is presented in US dollars unless Shopify Markets displays another supported local currency. A bank or card provider may apply conversion fees.
Payment Security
- Payment details are transmitted through encrypted checkout connections.
- Complete card details are processed by approved payment providers and are not stored in the theme.
- Orders proceed only after the provider confirms payment.
Order Confirmation
After successful payment, Shopify sends an order confirmation with the purchased items and delivery details.
Payment Problems
- Confirm that billing details match the payment method.
- Check available balance, card limits, and provider authorization.
- Try another method displayed at checkout.
- If the issue continues, submit the order context through Contact Us.
